Sequoia Grove Winery is a family-owned winery founded in 1979 in the heart of Rutherford, one of Napa Valley’s most renowned winegrowing regions. The winery began in a more than 100-year-old barn, beneath a grove of towering redwood trees that gave Sequoia Grove its name.

From the beginning, Sequoia Grove has been dedicated to making wines that express a true sense of place. The philosophy is rooted in careful vineyard work, respect for the character of Rutherford and a thoughtful, hands-off approach in the cellar. Warm days, cool nights and the region’s distinctive gravelly soils create exceptional conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon, the winery’s signature variety.

Today, Sequoia Grove farms nearly 100 acres of vineyards and produces a range of wines defined by elegance, balance and a strong connection to their origins. Sustainability is an integral part of the winery’s approach, with Sequoia Grove holding Napa Green certification and a long-standing commitment to responsible stewardship of the land.
